For the record, I thought a quite a few of the jokes were funny. The sheer volume of them meant at least some of them were bound to hit! I wonder if there would be less negativity if people understood that this was going to be a humor column from the get-go.

For what it’s worth, Pedro, I have never written, drawn or created something without signing my actual name. If its good, I take the triumphs, if it fails -like today, I suppose – I take the lumps. If folks want to be as close minded enough to judge my other work by a single off column (my previous TAKE THAT columns were well enough received!), well… that’s their prerogative, I suppose.

Not bad, Neil, but some of the jokes do stretch things a bit too far. Next time maybe less Perez Hilton and more actual humor might be a good idea.
