Soap Opera star turns comic scribe with Soul Stealer

TVGuide.com reports on One Life to Live star Michael Easton’s jump into the comic world — Soul Stealer from DMF Comics. The book and the actor will make their comic world debut at Wizard World Chicago. Christopher Shy is the artist.

In addition to One Life to Live, where he plays “crimefighter John McBain,” Easton has also appeared in the shows Mutant X, Total Recall 2070, Ally McBeal, FOX’s short-lived VR.5 and the soap opera Port Charles, where he apparently played a vampire. I think all soap operas go through some sort of weird supernatural phase, don’t they?

In terms of writing, Easton is also tapped to write the first installment of The Green Woman series for Vertigo with horror novelist Peter Straub.

Michael Easton’s always been a reliable enough character actor. But since he plays a character named McBain, does he punch guys out of 50-story windows?

Do wound that bring pain to him mean nothing to him?

s poetry collection and it is amazing.
