I was always a little heartbroken that Weisman never got to tell all the stories he planned for these characters. Not too sure why, honestly. But I had a completely different reaction reading it collected than I had issue by issue. The secrecy with the Illuminati (and mixing of intentions) reminds me of the Johnny Depp character in Once Upon A Time In Mexico. I look forward to the next trade anxiously. I liked the format, and the presentation. My only request would be sticking to one artist, I think I liked the one who did issue 6 or so the best. However if the variety keeps the book coming out then that is different. Hopefully this series succeeds and continues to spawn the spin off series that Greg envisions.
