I guess somebody took the word “teaser” to heart with this rather revealing — buttcrack, ahoy! — poster for the live-action Witchblade movie, announced a couple of weeks ago.
Uh, so … yeah. Buttcrack. Coming your way in 2009.

Is it direct-to-dvd?

…yet we’re still told Witchblade is not about T&A.

… I’m sorry, is anyone honestly looking for something OTHER than T&A from this one? I probably won’t bother with it, but if I do check it out on DVD it won’t be for the story any more than most people would buy Playboy for the articles.

I’m surprised they decided to put anyone on the cover since they haven’t cast anyone for the role and I doubt the person on the cover is set for the role.
The hi-larious part is that even if the comic book is pretty T and A, the main character is a Tough as Nails NYC cop. This really doesn’t sell that. I wonder if this will be in line with any of the further ads for the movie.

So, an Uwe Bowl production?

I dont understand the complaints
Is faithful to the comic to the extreme.
This poster is gonna crack the internet in half.

Is that a honest to goodness poster released from the people actually making the movie???
If so, bad call. Bad call.
The poster would have been much more effective had they ‘cut it’ at the model’s hips.
Now this movie is already craking people up.
Badadum!

Witchblade - Giving comics respectability since…whenever the hell it first showed up. I really don’t care enough to check.

Hey, she can be tough as nails and buck-nekkid at the same time, right?

Now, that’s what I call a teaser.

Looks like Platinum is desperate to try to create some buzz to get their stock prices up. They’re pretty low on money according to their public financial statements. Are they going to film this in someone’s backyard with a 20 dollar budget?

“…yet we’re still told Witchblade is not about T&A.”
Old habits die hard, apparently.
