It’s not exactly comics, but design:related has a nice preview of the new Abrams book devoted to those snarky stickers that mocked everything product Madison Avenue every pitched. I may have to buy this.

Wacky Packs were a major part of my childhood, and possibly the first thing to awaken my collector’s mentality.
Jay Stephens, Mark Newgarden, Art Spiegelman, truly a who’s who of comics art worked on the classic series. Great stuff.
One sticker was pulled from the series it was planned for, as they thought the joke had enough legs to support its own sticker series. They were right - Garbage Pail Kids far surpassed the success of the Wacky Pack, even after the OAA Lawsuit.

Yeah… I loved that stuff too. I bet the jokes still mostly hold up. I didn’t realize that people like Spiegelman designed Wacky Packs. Awesome!
Ain’t nostaliga great?
