Det. Ramirez? I’m assuming there were some type of legal issues with using Renee Montoya?
Irregardless, definitely going to buy this.

Um, NO. It’s because in Rucka’s Batman comics and his Gotham City police series (Gotham Central), Det. Crispus Allen’s partner was Renee Montoya. It makes sense that if he going to feature Det. Allen, his parnter would be Det. Montoya (since I don’t think there was a Det. Ramirez in his books).

Maybe Ramirez is in the film and they wanted to use her in place of Montoya.

Why would there be legal issues? Montoya has never been used by any company not owned by Warner Brothers. If they didn’t use her, the reason probably wouldn’t be legal.
