    I’d almost forgotten this was coming out in December. Not exactly a holiday movie which I think is the only thing against it. Thomas Jane did a decent job but that film was just not quite right. I think they’ve captured the tone of the Punisher for this one and look forward to it. I just hope the counter-programming angle works for the release. Marvel can’t withstand a flop this year.

    Lionsgate is releasing this film, if it flops it won’t hurt Marvel financially, it just won’t help them either.
