Speaking of Japan, in this week’s Cup o’ Joe column, Marvel chief Joe Quesada reveals that Chris Claremont and David Nakayama are working on a new Big Hero 6 miniseries. Additional character artwork can be found at the link.
Big Hero 6 first appeared in the pages of Alpha Flight by Steve Seagle and Duncan Rouleau, then went on to star in their own miniseries by Scott Lobdell and Gus Vasquez. The roster included Sunfire and Silver Samurai. Neither of them are on the roster this time, but Hiro, Baymax, Honey Lemon and GoGo Tomago will be joined by two new characters.
The column this week also includes artwork from the Milo Manara X-Men project.

Ha! When I saw the Final Crisis pics of Most Excellent Superbat the first thought that popped into my head was, “I wonder what happened to Marvel’s Big Hero Six.”

It’s oddly apropos that Chris Claremont gets to revamp a Scott Lobdell creation, isn’t it?
