not sure if anyone caught this but technically she made her debut last week. She was in the Halloween crowd and walked past the screen with a bag of money

I noticed that, too. I thought it was pretty funny.
I’ve been very happy with this series. Not only have they mixed in a lot of fun elements from all over the comics, but they’ve done a really good job of building things up slowly.
They didn’t just pop in MJ in one episode, they built her up for awhile in the same way that the comic did originally. Instead of just handing us Sandman and Rhino, they showed them to us as regular thugs a few times before they got powers. It’s been very satisfying to watch them set everything up.
Tricia Helfer is perfect for the Black Cat.

I wonder if she’ll be Peter’s age or older.

Helfer?
That’s STUPID casting. What’s the point of casting Helfer in a cartoon? LIVE ACTION IS WHERE SHE’S AT!
(Yes, I love her)

I must confess this cartoon has grown on me. Loving the turns they’re taking and how it’s not following to the line all the stories told before with these same characters.
Black Cat. Woot!

Cool! This show has been a lot of fun from the start, and introducing the Cat makes perfect sense.

Nice character design. Though she looks slightly like Lisa Loeb.

It’s about time incestuous anal rape made its debut on Saturday morning TV.

WTF!? Robot House Brian. What was that about?
Loving the new Spidey ‘toon. Dare I say the best one ever produced? Oh, I dare. I dare.

Yaaay! The Black Cat! My favorite! She looks adoreable. I approve. I hope she and Peter get together.

I love the fact that every episode practically introduces yet another one Spider-man’s supporting cast members; whether they be hero or villian. I’m curious to see if astronaut John becomes Man-wolf or not, now that he brought the symbiote to earth.

i think this cartoon is genius. a lot better than the movies. very smart. if anyone out there has dvr or tivo i would recommend slowing the action down. they put a lot into the moves. the build up of the characters, all the characters, is pretty darn good. i’m also please to see such an interracial cast. they made ned leeds an asian and changed it to ned lee. i love it. i’m not sure whats going to happen once kids WB is finished but i sure hope it finds a home.

To DaVeO.
Apparently you’ve never read the Kevin Smith/Terry Dodson Spider-Man/Black Cat “The Evil That Men Do” miniseries.
I envy you. I truly, truly do.
