Also at DC Nation panel at the Emerald City ComiCon this weekend, writer Greg Rucka said that the long-rumored Batwoman comic is forthcoming. The announcement wasn’t supposed to be made until San Diego, but after the crowd let out a chorus of boos, Rucka confirmed it. This comes a few months after DiDio said there wasn’t going to be a Batwoman series, during a panel at WonderCon.

For more info on the character, Tom shared his thoughts about Batwoman in his column shortly after WonderCon.

Finally! All that 52 face time shouldn’t be for nothing.

  2. justme Says:

Prediction: canceled in under 20 issues…and that includes a story arc with Bird of Prey and a one shot visit by Nightwing and Jason Todd.
Then the character will be either forgotten or transferred over to BoP.

And I guess she’ll be made a bitter, self-loathing alcoholic who needs to be taught over and over again that KILLING AM WRONG, just like every other Rucka female lead.

Devin Grayson, where are you now when we need you most?

  4. Jason McNamara Says:

J.H. Williams is gonna draw the hell outta this book. I can’t wait.

  5. Arvandor Says:

I’d best get something for my website out of this.

  6. Jim Says:

    Someone’s calling for Devin Grayson?

That’s when you know the world’s gone to hell.

  7. Something Coyle Back Home Says:

Hey, read Titans lately? DEO kids come back!

  8. D Says:

Read Grayson’s Gotham Knights run, Jim. While her Nightwing run was bad (to say the least) she did some incredible stuff before it. If Adam Beechen can get several chances to redeem himself for that awful Batgirl stuff in Robin…

  9. ScottyQ Says:

Yeah, Devin Grayson’s done several hits, and while a lot of her Nightwing run was bad, her Gotham Knights and Titans run were brilliance distilled.
