Cracked.com ranks “The 6 Creepiest Comic Book Characters of All Time,” with nods to Comet the super horse and his obsession with Supergirl, Ultimate Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch’s strong bond, and Dorothy Spinner’s Inner Child doll. Not for the faint of heart.

I always cringed at Wonderman. It was the eyes. Ugh.

I miss Doom Patrol-era Grant Morrison.

You’d think that Cracked might have picked Obnoxio the Clown.
Think about it.
THINK ABOUT IT.

Unless I’m forgetting something, Morrison didn’t come up with that character, and it instead dates from Rachel Pollack’s run.

Yes, I know that was Crazy, not Cracked, but it would have been funny.

I don’t get the Terry hate. College professor dating a younger woman? Okay, that’s odd.
The hating on the clothes and hair is just silly, though. That’s like watching the first couple of years of Three’s Company and saying that John Ritter was a horrible person based on his clothing. Sure, Terry had the white guy fro, but that was at the same time that Nightwing had the open shirt. Big deal.

Jason,
The hate comes from the fact that, if you’ve ever seen a picture of Marv Wolfman from that era, it’s pretty much impossible to see Terry Long as anything other than a Marty Stu for Wolfman.
