Incredible Hulk trailer

A new trailer for the Incredible Hulk film, featuring lots of Banner running and — wait for it — Hulk using cars as boxing gloves like in the video game, is now available on the Apple site.

This trailer was a lot better but I’m still not too sure how I feel about the CGI. I personally think that the Hulk from the 2002 film looked more realistic.

  2. David Crockett Says:

CRAP!! The CG looks even worse in this one.

  3. prophet of doom Says:

couldn’t agree more. the Hulk looks “cartoony”. i like the over all look of the Hulk, but it just doesn’t look real. i’m still gonna go see it tho. lol

  4. Paul Says:

I think the Hulk looks better. As I’ve remarked to friends before when it comes to the Hulk you just need to suspend your beleif that he’s big and green. This Hulk looks slightly more realistic than Ang Lee’s… but truth be told I was happy enough with that Hulk too.

The Abomination I’m not so sure about. Looks real enough… but just not that much like the Abomination of the comics. If they gave him some fin ears I’d be happy :P

‘Incredible Hulk’ looks so cool though. After seeing the new trailer I’m even more enthusiastic about watching it.

  5. Jason Setzer Says:

Ditto on the CGI. It’s looks claymation-ish. Will somebody please see what David Fincher is doing then next time they reboot the Hulk?

  6. Reuben Says:

did anyone catch the little touch at the end of the trailer of the original Hulk Tv show theme music. really cool. This one looks pretty damn awesome. I just hope the hulk does talk. So far they are keeping that hidden. hehe.

  7. Luke Says:

I dunno, I think it’s a good trailer. It makes me want to see the film, so that makes it a success in my book. I think the film looks like a lot of fun.

And yeah Reuben, I noticed the little snippet of “Lonely Man” at the end. Very appropriate.

  8. Mode Says:

I don’t know I know its a comic book movie and you are supposed to take it with a grain of salt you take a kick to the chest from the hulk you die no two ways about it. Plus since I’ve seen both trailers I feel like I have seen the plot of the whole movie. Leaving the reason to watch this pure eye candy not enough to spend 10 bucks on especially since the hulk looks way worse then he did in the first movie gumbyish even. Gonna have to wait for video on this one.

  9. Jamal Igle Says:

i found myself very underwhelmed by this trailer.

  10. justme Says:

Abomination - pants = bad guy
Because good guys always wear pants

Waiting to add this to my netflix list as it isnt worth $10 a ticket

  11. ejulp Says:

Marvel should have waited on a more compelling screenplay, unless theres some surprises to the overall plot…this seems pretty by the numbers.

  12. Simon DelMonte Says:

Underwhelmed, and not the least bit interested. But let’s face facts…the movies have to struggle with the same thing that the comics did: he’s not that great a character. There’s a reason that PAD and Pak have done what they did with him to change him or his surroundings. Alas, the movies can’t start there, can’t they?

  13. Predabot Says:

    Kick. ASS. :D

Exciting trailer, fills me with hope that it will be a great movie.

Anybody catch the Betty and Hulk in a cave, while it rains outside? :) Obviously inspired by Hulk: Gray.

  14. Radiate Says:

For those complaining about the CGI, i mean seriously. This is the Hulk. He’s BIG and GREEN. How on earth can you make that truly, truly realistic?

From what the trailer shows this is a lot better than the first Ang Lee Hulk film. The Hulk actually looks pretty cool. The CGI does a better job than that film.

What would you all prefer a man like Lou Ferringo to green-up and play the Hulk? That just can’t happen…

  15. Four_color_realist Says:

I was at the NYCC where they showed the trailer plus 5 minutes worth of day time footage. Trust me the Hulk looks great. When you see him in motion and not in snipets, its all gravy baby.

  16. Jordan Says:

    Wow.

Even less inspiring than the first trailer.

I think this has officially worked it’s way to HBO as I don’t want to waste a Netflix rental on it.

  17. ejulp Says:

“For those complaining about the CGI, i mean seriously. This is the Hulk. He’s BIG and GREEN. How on earth can you make that truly, truly realistic?”

Its not that…his skin just looks like plastic…he looks like a big Hulk toy.

  18. adam Says:

I think all of you guys are full of teh brown stuff on this one.

The movie looks great, much better than the first one. I’ll certainly see it. Not just because of the special effects, but because I like the cast and the more focused approach that the story seems to be taking.

  19. Da Black Goku Says:

    I’m ignoring the whining.

I’ll be in line opening day.

  20. Kenny Says:

This looks kinda pedestrian, not too great, not too bad. It looks like it will be a fun few hours for a Hulk fan and not much else. I like superheroes, so I’ll probably see it, but I’m nowhere near as excited by this trailer as I am the Iron Man trailer.

  21. Joshua Says:

I didn’t care for the teaser at all, but this was great. I am officially excited about this movie. But hey, I actually liked Ang Lee’s Hulk.

  22. lobocomics Says:

OK…. we saw it…. Iron Man opened yesterday April 30 on mexico, and is a good movie, very well done… a good set up for a thousand movies Marvel is going to do after this one… ready?… spoilers ahead… in Spanish so you don´t complain

Si… si sale al final de los creditos, esperen a ver cuando le dice que Tony stark está a punto de entrar a un nuevo Universo de superheroes…. y que si sabe que es la iniciativa de los…..Vangadores!!!!!

  23. thequestion Says:

loved the trailer. dont’ underestimate edward norton!

  24. Aro Says:

The Hulk might be bit of a hollow character, but Bruce Banner and his relationship to the Hulk is what makes the story interesting. I liked that this trailer focused on Banner’s role as a “man on the run,” both from the government and from himself.
The previous trailer was a bit scattershot, but this one makes me want to see the film. Here’s hoping the movie will be awesome!

  25. s*p rules Says:

Other than wishing the abomination looked more like the comics version (they could have at least given him the ears), I think this looks fantastic. I’ll be at midnight Iron Man tonight, and I’ll be at midnight Hulk next month.

  26. Tycho Says:

    “I’m ignoring the whining.

I’ll be in line opening day.”

Don’t worry, the rest of them will be too. ;)

“I don’t want to waste a Netflix rental on it.”

Funniest fanboy snaark I’ve seen in a while.

  27. Mundungus Says:

I’ll be seeing this in theaters, because I think it will entertain and it does have a solid cast behind it. My main stipulation is Penn’s work on X3 totally soured me to anything he does now. I’m wiling to suspend my disbelief that this film will be worthwhile, but while little homages like Banner being pushed out of the helicopter, and I believe someone pointed out a Hulk: Gray homage. I’d rather have a solid, original script that pays tribute and carries the essence of what makes the Hulk great. Then just a montage of panel-to-screen cool moments in Hulk history.

I agree that it’ll be by the books, it seems.

  28. hatchet9x Says:

    I agree with Tycho.

Bold internet proclamations about netflix aside, if you’re posting here then you’ll be seeing the movie.

Please don’t pretend like you won’t be.

  29. Sean Says:

I hate it when trailers show you the whole plotline of a movie.

  30. jccalhoun Says:

Well the Hulk went from looking like plastic in the first film to looking like clay animation in this one. I guess that’s a step up.

  31. John Says:

I personally don’t care if this Hulk looks different from the Ang Lee Hulk movie,(that’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy his verison) what I’m hoping for is that they stick to the comic book origins and not have Hollywood add their twists and turns like they always do. I do know that some of it is based on the television show and as a Jeph Loeb fan, Hulk: Gray was a help to this movie, so all in all I’m pretty happy about this.

  32. Roy Says:

I’m there. Love the scene with the Hulk and Betty sitting on a ledge. And the music bar from the TV show made me smile.

  33. Roy Says:

I’m there. Love the scene with the Hulk and Betty sitting on a ledge. And the music bar from the TV show made me smile.

  34. Marquis Says:

I can’t even see it my computer won’t recognise the quicktime plug in even when iuse safari for windows? WTH? man

  35. KingMattress Says:

Anyone know if the trailer that has the Tony Stark cameo is available?

  36. Venom Melendez Says:

Looks great, i’m so gonna see it when it comes out.

  37. DMO Says:

The Hulk and Abomination look terrible here — poorly matted and color matched. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think this will be worth its admission price (on the other hand, I liked Ang Lee’s version). I will most likely see it in the theatre though.

  38. ThatNickGuy Says:

    Dude, I am THERE.

  39. doc_doom79 Says:

    Louis Leterrier was strike one.

    Zak Penn was strike two.

I was hoping Edward Norton took this bull by the horns, but he had to play nice with Marvel studios…

I dont see why the entire original cast had to be replaced.

The first Hulk wasnt that bad.

  40. Mott Says:

I don’t think that many of you remember how the Hulk looked in the first movie. If you go back and watch it you will see Shrek on steroids. This hulk looks infinitely better. Although I do agree with a previous poster by saying that you WILL need to suspend your belief cause Any green giant will look retarded.

  41. teehjay Says:

Seriously people, most of you are complaining because of the first couple posters complaining. You all are gonna go see it and the CG look fine to me.

  42. DMO Says:

teenhjay, I personally and complaining because the CG looks like **** to me. The matting is poor, the lighting poorly matched and the skin tones looks plastic. If you like it, fine, but don’t pout about the fact that people might disagree with you.

  43. atts Says:

Norton is fine, and worth seeing and supporting for the price of several mediocre comics or a lunch. Vote with your wallet.

  44. Panji Sudoyo Says:

First of all, yes, the first Hulk was THAT bad.
Second of all, i think this movie will kick some box-office a$$ in June.
    Yes, it IS THAT awesome!!

  45. ACTION Says:

Google image Ang Lee’s Hulk and you will see that he looked way way way better. This one is BLURRY, foggy, has poor color and is amazingly fake looking. Of course I’ll still se it though for the action, but Lee’s Hulk CGI was leaps and bounds superior to this.

  46. abeis Says:

First , i hate the fact that thy changed the entire cast. Moveis with secuels normaly do bertter if the fans see the same old faces as in the original .
As for the CG , i would say that the caracters look exesively mascular( anatomicaly speaking ) and in the case of hulk , he’s face remainds me of the 80’s cartoon were he sounded like a retard .

  47. richie rich Says:

At least this hulk dosent have the asian look
