From "M"

New York magazine’s Vulture blog has a 12-page excerpt from M, Jon J. Muth’s adaptation of Fritz Lang’s classic 1931 film. Muth’s version was first published in 1990 by Eclipse, but the company went out of business before the four-issue miniseries could be collected.

Later this month Harry N. Abrams will release the adaptation as a hardcover, with an introduction by film critic Adam Kempenaar.

I’ve always wanted to see that movie but I never manage to get around to it.

This has already been distributed to comics shops, so I’m guessing that the Abrams edition is different. My LCS just sent their copy back to Diamond as the person who wanted it decided not to buy it because it was not as advertised. There was a dvd of the movie solicited to come with the book, but it didn’t.

I have the Eclipse issues of this… they’re gorgeous. Found ‘em in a FIFTY PENCE BIN???!!!1111!? Wrenched my shoulder patting myself on the back, dude.

It came out awhile. I first saw a copy in the window of the Harvard Book Store and nearly fainted. I’ve been trying to get the single issues for ages. Sadly, the 45 isn’t included with the collection.
