After The Incredible Hulk star/screenwriter Edward Norton and director Louis Leterrier finally responded on Wednesday to reports of the actor’s supposed feud with Marvel, you’d think the rumor would be put to rest.
Well, you’d be wrong.
Hollywood industry/gossip blogger Nikki Finke, who kicked off the story back in March, reserves the last word for herself.
Citing “an insider,” Finke reports that although Norton and Marvel Studios have “settled their issues,” what movie-goers see on the screen will be Marvel’s cut, not Norton’s.
But a “Norton insider” tells Finke the actor will hold his tongue about the edit: “He’ll do stuff for the movie, certainly. He really does want people to see the movie and let it speak for itself.”
Of course, Norton is unlikely to hit the talk-show circuit, so it’s unclear what “stuff” will entail.
The Incredible Hulk opens on June 13.

Wow. It’s sad that, with less than two month’s until the opening day, this bickering is getting more “face-time” than the actual film.

And as everyone knows, people are more prone to buy “Studio Cuts” as opposed to the “Director’s Cut”.

If the suits chose the cut, it’s the wrong cut.
