Well, now, that’s kind of cool:)

Now where’s “SHE IS MY LOVER” and “I AM HER SPIRIT”?

I think the poster’s design and execution are great

that’s really cool. i think i’m looking forward to the opening titles more than anything else (i’m also looking forward to the rest of the movie too) because i hope they do something imaginative in keeping with the tradition of the spirit’s random uses of typography.

This is horrible, it sucks so much I can’t even begin to describe it.
This is definitely Sin City 2, and has little resemblance with Will Eisner’s Spirit. The use of typography is exactly the opposite of what Eisner used to do with the Spirit.
Why on Earth did Miller decide to destroy Eisner’s work in such a way is beyond my comprehension. He has his own work to play with and he decides to transform the Spirit into a pale version of his own comic book. It makes no sense
The Octopus was a criminal Mastermind, but Sam Jackson looks like a Pimp under the disguise… oh, and the Spirit’s cotume was BLUE!!!

Huh… I rather like it. I was never very interested in The Spirit (I know, I know… Blasphemy!) but I like the look and feel of this poster. No idea if it captures the “real” Spirit or not, as I haven’t read much of it, but this could be a really fun crime-noir sort of film. Suddenly I’m a lot more interested in seeing this.

Didn’t really have an interest in The Spirit myself until Darwyn’s series came along. I see where it’s trying to get the feel of Eisner’s play on working the title into the art. I’ll give the film a chance.

I’m with esteban on this. This poster sucks and the movie will do probably too.
