Byung-hun Lee as Storm Shadow and Sienna Miller as The Baroness

On Wednesday we posted the first image of Rachel Nichols as Scarlett in the upcoming G.I. Joe movie. But now What Would Tyler Durden Do? has the mother lode of cast photos, from Byung-hun Lee as Storm Shadow and Sienna Miller as The Baroness to Channing Tatum as Duke to Dennis Quaid as Hawk. There also are additional, and better-quality, shots of Ray Park as Snake Eyes.

G.I. Joe is set to open on Aug. 7, 2009.

Dreadful. Cosplayers, or Olivia Munn on G4 have done better.

The military wears digital camouflage, now, anyway.

  2. Goonsquad Says:

Well this movie’s done. What 80’s property is next for the nostalgia ruination machine?

How bout M.A.S.K?..ohh maybe Sectaurs, can’t go wrong with bugmen.

  3. Bishop Says:

Aww, so pretty. I don’t know what to say about Baroness though.

  4. Skyhawk Says:

    Ok. Now I’m scared.

  5. Skyhawk Says:

Looks like the customer designer restitched Uma Thurman’s Emma Peel catsuit from the Avengers movie.

  6. Jason M. Bryant Says:

Baroness needs glasses. Not sunglasses, she needs black frame glasses. It’s not just how the source material does it, it looks good.

  7. Erech Says:

It’s like Street Fighter taught us nothing at all..

  8. Jack Spicer Says:

This silly, joke video looks better, which is a sad commentary on this live action monstrosity.

If I posted a shot of Al Pacino posing for a press shot from The Godfather circa 1972, someone would say the movie will suck. Insert your own favorite movie if you like.

As long as stuff blows up all over the place, good and evil are polemic, and everybody gets a cheesy one-liner, I’ll be happy. The worst thing that can happen is we get another Street Fighter, in which case it’ll be a great drinking movie and the Rifftrax guys can make a commentary track.

  10. ElCoyote Says:

It was kinda hard to mess up Snake Eyes, but man…not feeling the Uniform thing, I don’t mind the idea of toning down the color schemes, but…uniforms? Bleargh.

Duke and Hawk make me sleepy.

  11. Rich Says:

Snake Eyes looked great, but the rest of these are beyond awful. That opinion, by the way, has nothing to do with abandoning the source material. They’re trying way, way too hard.

Does Storm Shadow’s tunic remind anyone else of the Future Council from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure?

    Urban Commando Fashion Ninjas GO!
