I know what you're saying, but DC's done this sort of thing before -- for example, Dwayne McDuffie wrote the last three issues of <em>Firestorm</em>. Is this just speculation or is there official word from DC? It seems hard to believe they would bring in Remender, a strong new writer, on a property just to cancel it. Its cancellation isn't a big surprise. However, I didn't expect <em>Batman Confidential</em> to get the push it did this week. As for <em>Confidential</em> vs. <em>LOTDK</em> -- who knows? Maybe it was just a relaunch to give <em>Superman Confidential</em> more of a boost. Ironic if that's the case. Sure makes comics today seem like a ripoff. Even with inflation, that's gotta be more bang for your buck! Nothing about Superman Confidential's quiet cancellation? Well, the less said about that book the better I guess.... I won't be sorry to see it go, but I am sorry that a book I was honestly looking forward to it (before it actually came out) ended up being such a disappointment. Some of the upcoming story arcs mentioned in the latest DC Nation sound promising too. So why didn't they just keep it "Legends of the Dark Knight"? It was a better name. Wow… 68 pages for $0.10.
