ComicsPRO, the trade organization for direct-market comic book retailers, has set a date for 24-Hour Comics Day — Oct. 18, 2008. They announced the date on the new ComicsPRO 24 Hour Comic Day blog.
As announced in March, ComicsPRO took over the event from Nat Gertler, who is quoted in the blog post: “I’m proud of how quickly this event has grown, and look forward to seeing it continue to grow with the additional abilities that ComicsPRO brings. But the best part of not having to manage 24 Hour Comics Day is that now I’m free to participate in 24 Hour Comics Day!”
