Stan Lee and his POW! Entertainment production company, along with Brighton Partners, have joined with Rainmaker Entertainment to launch a new superhero franchise called Legion of 5.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the property, which is jointly owned by POW!, Brighton and Rainmaker, is envisioned as a series of CG-animated films “but with a cross-platform approach to include games, online and mobile releases.”
No details about the characters or storylines have been released.
This project is separate from Lee’s first-look deal with Disney.
