I really like the back-to-back concept. It looks cool. It would’ve been super cool if they did it like Incredible Hulk #1′s cover. I like it, though.

Looks familiar

A homage to a Spider-man cover.
April 15th, 2008 at 7:22 am
Awesome!
I’m loving this and the Iron Man posters
It couldn’t hurt to start running ads for this on tv, right ?
April 15th, 2008 at 7:40 am
Now play that sad, walking away music from the end of “The Incredible Hulk!”
Looks good.

This is a John Romita SR Spider-Man cover…not sure which one…im thinking late forties in the issue numbers.

I like the homage to ASM #50 (This film is Marvel’s baby, so I think it’s fair game)… And yes, I can hear that somber piano music as Banner walks on. I think this movie is going to be better than some people think, and I’m not even a Hulk fan.
But yeah… It wouldn’t hurt to start putting some ads on TV, etc. I know Iron Man’s going to get all the attention for the next few weeks, but Hulk deserves to get some attention too. I wonder why both films out within a few weeks of each other… Didn’t Marvel have any say over that?

you know whats really awesome?
jean jackets!
Woooo!
April 15th, 2008 at 10:14 am
PUNY HUMAN NO LIKE JEAN JACKETS?? HULK SMASH PUNY HUMAN!!
OOPS… Hulk rip own jean jacket.
April 15th, 2008 at 10:41 am
Hey Banner, what’s up with the redneck tuxedo?
Ie. Jeans jacket w/ jeans.
April 15th, 2008 at 10:58 am
The CGI even looks bad on a still poster image.
Sad.
April 15th, 2008 at 11:33 am
Tony, I’m not sure the Hulk will ever look great in CGI… But I honestly think he looks better in what little I’ve seen of this film than he did in the Ang Lee movie.
April 15th, 2008 at 12:22 pm
@ Jason:
I think that’s more of a Canadian tux because the denim is still intact.
April 15th, 2008 at 1:11 pm
Reminds me of Bill Bixby and Lou actually….

Did everyone know that Robert Downey Jr is making a cameo in this movie?
April 15th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
I’m puzzled why Universal would be marketing the movie in such a passive way.
The failure of the Ang Lee film, both profit-wise and review-wise, was its underwhelming combination of labored psycho-drama, lack-luster action and unconvincing special effects. Ya think the studio would want to shout to the audience that they got it ‘right’ this time — that this is a thrilling action/adventure/fantasy movie that understands the primal viewer-identification of ‘Hulking out’ without any chin stroking.
Instead it looks all slow and ‘think-y’ again.
April 15th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
deco, you just answered your own question.
I think the poster pretty cool.
April 15th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
Great homage. Too bad I can’t get the Charlie Brown parody of the original out of my head every time I look at this poster.
April 15th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
I knew that jean jacket comment would get a response.
But really though, jeans and a jean jacket…over top of what looks like a light blue denim shirt…?
wtf banner?
too much jeans! 4 cotton ginny’s exploded making that killer ensemble.
i get the you are trying to hide from the authorities sure, but get a leather jacket or something with a hood and maybe a black t-shirt…with a rock band on the front.
no need to look like crap.
also…
redneck tux. nice, i like that saying.
is it just me or does anyone else remember when the hulk had a mullet?
bring that shit back for the movie.
April 16th, 2008 at 5:40 am
Hey look! Ed Norton is doing a Bixby pose in front of that Godzilla poster!
I’m sorry, it’s a poster for what now?
April 16th, 2008 at 7:29 am
Everything rips arpart when Banner becomes the HULK, but somehow his pants remain intact? Not that I need to see him without his pants, but someting should be done to correct this…inconsistency.
April 16th, 2008 at 11:19 am
I dunno Wendell… I think I’m fine with Hulk’s pants ON.
I don’t really want to know how much “bigger” the rest of him gets.
April 16th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
Does Hulk have some weird infection on his back or something..
April 16th, 2008 at 6:39 pm
Infection? I know it’s a foreign concept to most fanboys, but that’s called muscle.
April 17th, 2008 at 12:32 am
Muscle? I thought it was Ed Norton. ;P
April 17th, 2008 at 2:31 am
Maybe he’s just one of those guys who ruins a joke by stating the obvious.
April 18th, 2008 at 6:05 pm
Or how about #11? He posted a joke and then explained it. You should never have to explain your joke!!!
