Meh… I might try it out, but I question whether or not the stories this series will cover ever needed to be told now that Ep III has been out for several years.
I guess my problem is that we’re going to see Anakin leading a group of young padawans or something? Padawans that Anakin’s going to KILL, eventually. Somehow, it’s hard to get worked up about that, or get attached to any of the characters.

So not interested.
The only way Lucas could possibly pique my interest is if he announced a project (TV or film, not comic or or other tie-in) set post-ROTJ. Since it looks unlikely that he’ll ever do that, it’s also unlikely I’ll ever pay much heed to SW related crap again.

I was very excited about this project based on how much I loved the CLone Wars cartoon series but boy-howdy does this ever look dull.
What’s happening here that we haven’t seen before? It looks like they re-animated and scenes from the three prequels.
And on a personal note, I gigantically don’t care about Anakin Skywalker. He’s just not that interesting and I can’t hear his name without picturing the whiny talentless git who played him.
Also, those droid soliders? Not threatning. At all. And you can thank the oh-so funny comedy routines for that.

Ed, you are so right… Post-ROTJ is about the only SW that would get me interested anymore. Hell, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher might even do it. Something set many years later, as they (obviously) aged. Not sure if they get Harrison Ford again though. Or perhaps even set after their time, with possible offspring or something.
And GQ, you’re also right. It’s impossible to think of Anakin without thinking of the two whiny, talentless actors who played him the prequels. Jake Lloyd sucked, but I can forgive him for being a kid and having a crappy script to contend with. Yipee!!
But Hayden Christensen? Ugh. A one-note, one-emotion actor who sounded like he was reading everything off a cue card. He’s terrible. Ep. III was watchable, and pretty decent actually, in spite of him.
