How do you feel about J. Scott Campbell? Some of the Millarworld posters are conflicted, but consistently over the top:

I don’t think JSC will be a ‘regular’ comic book guy, ever, but when he does come to the table he certainly brings his whole game. Despite the wider reaction to Wildsiderz, take a look at the book and art itself. Pretty amazing stuff. He just ‘gets’ what he is doing and to be honest, I’m kinda glad we don’t see too much JSC on the shelves, kinda makes the wait worth while.”

The disappearance of Wildsiderz has poisoned his rep with a LOT of retaliers- he declared he had “Multiple issues in the can” when it started when that turned out to be issues #0 and #1. #2 materialed… then nothing.

He never finished Wildsiderz? I thought that was the book to show he can hit a deadline and that it was already being shopped around Hollywood.
The fact that I couldn’t even remember it until you posted the name should have been an indicator.
Man, what a dick if he said crap like that. Kind of like Marvel with Ultimates 3 being delayed too.

If only he learned to draw well.
I find his female characters’ tendency to thrust their boobs and arses in my face to be highly off-putting.
His lack of published work is no great loss to the artistic community in general and the comics industry in particular.

His stuff has always been ugly. His women all have the same face and porno poses, and his figures looks like Todd McFarlane drawing drunk.
