What George Miller, and WB, needs to do is take his JLA movie and stick it.

Just end it now, admit that it’s a bad idea, and work on developing some good DC films, getting actual comic creators involved in the writing process. WW, GL and Flash all have potential, but take the time to do it right, with people who understand these characters.

And totally reboot the Superman movie franchise while they’re at it.

I so want that Charlie Brown/Watchmen mash-up as a poster.

  3. Shaun Says:

    I agree Chris… Snoopy/Rorschach is awesome!

  4. Jeff Parker Says:

Some friends and I actually did this back when I was in college, when Watchmen was still new. My differences: I had Pigpen as Rorschach, Snoopy as the Comedian, and Linus as Dr. Manhattan (his blanket covering his middle). It ran in one of the last issues of Comics Scene, if anyone ever saw that. I can’t remember the number.

    I remember the Watchnuts!

I was going to reference it and then I read Jeff’s comment. Weird.

I actually couldn’t remember it was in Starlog or Comics Scene. I loved that cartoon. I still have the issue somewhere. I was looking for it a while back.

  6. Theo Says:

    It’s in issue #9 (volume #4, series #20), Page 59. Way back in 1989.
    Wow, I feel old now.

  7. Jeff Parker Says:

Theo, if you get time to scan it, can I have a jpeg? I just remembered, though you can probably figure it out from who was left, Charlie Brown was Night Owl.

  8. Theo Says:

I’ll send it your way first chance I get. :)
