Paul Pope is great, a true iconoclast, and it’s nice that he occasionally does a bit of mainstream superhero work.

Pope, Bruce Timm, and Mike Oeming are the best there is working today at the “Kirby close-up.” Although, the late Mike Parobeck was pretty good at it too.
