Less Lana on Smallville next season

Kristin Kreuk, who plays Lana on the CW’s Smallville, posted on her Facebook profile that she’d be in a “small” number of episodes of the show next season:

So, I thought I would give those of you curious about Smallville a brief debrief. I am in Bangkok for a few more months. So, no shooting of the Ville for me. I will return for a undetermined, although small, number of episodes in season 8.

I am not really opening up the floor for lots of discussion, because it is not really the place for it. Obviously I have loved my time on the show, but I am equally as thrilled to move on to new endeavors. One of which is very dear to me, and that is GBD [Girls By Design]. So thank you all for your really fabulous support and passion!!! I hope this clears up most of the questions…

xoxo

More “Incredible” screenshots
If you liked the Incredible Hulk game screenshots I posted last week, here are some more.

In related news, FX has already bought the rights to show Iron Man and Incredible Hulk when they head to cable. Iron Man is just all over the place …

Cyclopes (not the X-Man) goes to the movies
Variety reports that the film rights to Cyclopes, the graphic novel by Alexis Nolent, AKA Matz, and Luc Jacamon, have been snatched up by Warner Bros.:

Set in the near future, the actioner concerns mercenary forces whose soldiers wear Cyclops-like cameras in their helmets and broadcast in real time to both central command and living rooms. One mercenary chosen to lead an elite squad begins to realize he isn’t fighting for freedom and justice as much as for commerce.

James Mangold will direct, and Cathy Konrad will produce with Alexandra Milchan, who is already attached to Nolent’s The Killer.

That makes me sad; the on-screen chemistry that Clark and Lana have is amazing.
