I hesitate to link to an article on the main site — I figure if you’re reading this blog you’re probably reading Newsarama, too — but this item is too good to pass up: DC Comics has announced it will resume Manhunter in June with Issue 31, by Marc Andreyko and Michael Gaydos (Alias). That’ll be one year since the series went on a hiatus, of sorts, after receiving a reprieve from cancellation.
It’s a little odd DC isn’t relaunching the series with a new No. 1 — a year-long absence is a better reason than most for restarting a title — but I’m not going to complain.
Hey, isn’t that Obsidian in the top-right panel? And he’s not on wallpaper duty!

Newsarama main needs a f–king RSS feed already. It’s plain stupid that they don’t have even this most basic of accessories.

Sorry to sound like such a bonehead, but what’s an RSS feed?

A year between issues… that’s like All-Star Batman & Robin… and they didn’t feel a need to restart with #1 either.

Sluggo, it stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows readers to keep up with website or blog content using an aggregator program like Bloglines.

That’s great news, especially the part about Michael Gaydos … his artwork made Alias such a treat, and I imagine it will make this book sell enough to keep being published for a while.
