Edward Norton as Bruce Banner in "The Incredible Hulk"

Now that the trailer is out, Marvel has launched the official website for The Incredible Hulk, with sections dedicated to stills, the story synopsis and downloads. There’s also a countdown clock. (Ninety days and counting!)

Meanwhile, director Louis Leterrier provides Empire magazine with some commentary on the teaser, assuring viewers the film won’t be a retread of the Hulk’s origin:

“You’ll see Bruce Banner transform in minute three. (Laughs) Minute three! That’s what’s good about it and it was really important when I was accepting the movie. We’re not treating it as an origin movie but: Bruce Banner stepping into his chair and the gamma bomb and everything. He’s the Hulk already, with the Hulk within him, and you get to understand how he came to be in this situation, his struggle in life, the other characters surrounding him and the enemies that he deals with and fights with.”

The Incredible Hulk hits theaters on June 13.

  1. RMC Says:

Dude! The music is the theme from the TV show… which makes me think of Stewie Griffin now, unavoidably.

  2. Matthew Craig Says:

    …oh, god, it is!

    Jesus.

Better Stewie than the Geoff Love Orchestra, I suppose.
