Stan Lee collaborating with Shaman King creator

Tuesday March 4, 2008, 7:17 am

Anime News Network reports that Stan Lee is collaborating with Shaman King creator Hiroyuki Takei on a project to help launch Shueisha’s Jump SQ.II spin-off magazine in April.

Although Spider-Man and the X-Men have been adapted as manga, and Japanese creators have worked on Marvel titles, this is the first time Lee has worked directly with a Japanese collaborator.

No details have been provided on the Lee-Takei project.
