Well, they aren't as well known as the DC Big 3, or even Flash, GL and Aquaman I'd have to say... The cartoon series raised their profile, but that show was aimed right at the kiddies. They did a kid-friendly, seriously watered down version of The Judas Contract.

If DC/WB were to make this movie, and do it properly, it will NOT be kid-friendly. I think that might be the issue here. Are there enough people aware of TT that are in the targeted, adult audience for this? Hard to say.

Some of them might know TT from their kids watching the show, but there's your dilemma. You can't sell Judas Contract to kids, and adults (at least non-comic reading adults) may think it's "kid stuff" and not bother. I'd like to see the movie happen, because it's a great story, but I can understand the business side of this.

OK...so there is an animated Teen Titans show that produced at least 40 episodes (I think), ran (and is currently still running) on the Kids WB network and Cartoon Network, the comic book title has been around for decades, and the WB isn't sure people know what they are?

They already did a version of this story on the Teen Titans cartoon. Not the best but it has been done.
