Oh, poor Dennis Quaid. How the mighty have fallen…JAWS 3-D suddenly looks like a career zenith.

He looks… frumpy.

Hawk has never looked so…poncey. Or paunchy.

Man, what is this, TMZ? I’d wager that all of you will be wishing you look as good as Dennis Quaid when you reach his age.
And “How the mighty have fallen”? Quaid’s career is healthier than it’s been in years. He had a career resurgence with The Rookie a few years back and has been getting more and more interesting roles since.
I think he’s going to be fantastic as Hawk and I’m not going to judge his entire performance on one snapshot with him standing in an awkward pose that is obviously meant to be viewed as part of a flowing narrative, not a static image.
But that’s just me, and I realize it’s not as fun as tearing people down.

He isn’t sporting a paunch. That suit is so starched, when he puts his hand on his hip, it ruffles his suit.
