Jackson confirms he’s Fury
Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed what Avi Arad lat slip many months ago, that he will play Nick Fury on the big screen … he just won’t say where. MTV reports:
“Well [then] am indeed Nick Fury,” Jackson finally admitted, officially confirming his role for the first time. “But I don’t know if I’m gonna be in [”Iron Man”] though.”
So you haven’t shot any scenes?
“I can’t tell you that!”
You won’t confirm?
“I won’t confirm!”
“Justice League itself is an honor”
Rapper Common confirms that he was, indeed, cast as Green Lantern John Stewart in the momentarily shelved Justice League film:
“It’s a blessing really, to know that I could potentially be this superhero,” he enthused. “Justice League itself is an honor, and Green Lantern is an incredible character to play. It’s a blessing to be associated with it.”
In particular, Common felt it was a special privilege to be the cast’s only black super.
“Just being a black person, a black man, playing a superhero is an honor in itself,” he smiled.
