Neatorama calls this flea-market find the “greatest toy pack of all time,” and I defy anyone to say otherwise. For $3, Thomas at Say It Backwards walked away with “Justice Heroes League,” featuring a black-suited Spider-Man with a baseball bat, a cape-less, cross-eyed, dinosaur-riding Superman with a crossbow and seriously off-model “S” emblem, a somewhat obscene Incredible Hulk, and a Batman … that actually looks pretty decent.

This is one of those times where budget, cheap and knock-off can be used in a sentence together.

I like that Superman seems to be called The Thing.

Dude, what’s holding the Hulk’s undie together?

I’ve seen packages like these at a few flea markets myself. In fact, I believe I saw some in Chinatown when I was there back in November. I’ve never seen the dinosaur-riding Superman package, though. I’ve been tempted to buy one just for the novelty.

OH JESUS
I just went to this flea market place near Detroit called Gibraltars…and they had the same thing, except it was all Spiderman, with Spiderman riding the same dinosaur…it was seven dollars so I didn’t get it.

Somewhere there’s a Power Ranger really ticked off at Superman for having hijacked his mini-dinozord …. and apparently renaming it The Thing.

Hey, that’s me!
PS. I haggled them down to $3. I earned that team of awesome.

ejulp was talking about Gibralter Trade Center, which is a huge flea market. They have, or used to have, 2 locations. 1 just south of Detroit, the other a bit north of Detroit. Never been there.

“Dude, what’s holding the Hulk’s undie together?”
To paraphrase Sideshow Mel: the collective will of everyone on the internet.

That is indeed an Incredibly-Thonged Hulk.
Spidey looks like he’s thinking of clocking Batman with that bat.
