Earlier this week Warren Ellis put out the call:
Okay, so we did the Indie Comics Stage thing a few weeks ago on my message board Whitechapel, and that seemed popular — but, of course, a lot of people ran multiple images per post, and it got kind of hard to scroll through those. So today we’re going to try something new.
Comics creators (of all kinds): post one image.
It can be a cover, a page, a panel, a strip. But you post one single image file, in one post. Working on multiple things? Pick one.
Add an address for your website, one or two lines of explanation if you like, and, of course, the relevant titles and credits. Let’s have a look at what’s out there.
And people responded here. The thread includes everything from webcomics to Image pitches to magazine covers. It’s fun to see what folks are working on and what we have to look forward to.
