What this has meant for Hollywood is that producers and directors are increasingly trying to tap into the ready-made audience for successful gaming franchises. After draining the comic-book world dry for ideas - X-Men, Spider-Man, Superman, the Punisher, Daredevil, Iron Man to name a few - it is turning to the gaming world for profitable concepts.

Torchwood: The Official Magazine launched earlier this week in the UK and hits the United States in February. Each issue will include an original Torchwood comic strip.

    Is Hancock related to Rob Liefeld’s concept “the One” (another super-hero project Will Smith had once beeen attached to when Rob sold it to hollywood a few years back). Anybody?
