I don’t have my finger on the pulse of the toy market, but has there been a great demand for Minimates based on the 17-year-old movie, The Silence of the Lambs? Apparently, Diamond Select thinks there’s an audience for the line, due out sometime this year.

Also in the pipeline: miniatures based on The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, Fistful of Dollars, and Platoon. Weird.
