Damn, I meant to submit something to this roundup, but I didn't get it in on time. Plus, I couldn't really think of anything that I really, REALLY liked, other than pointing out Jog's continual greatness. Maybe Dick Hyacinth's jabs at the fanboy blogosphere, or one of Abhay's rants, but I can't think of one piece of criticism that changed my life or anything. That's not to say there's not tons of great writing and conversations out there; I probably spend over an hour a day reading stuff people write about comics, and I do what I can to contribute to the conversation. So keep it up, everybody, and maybe I'll be able to come up with something next year.

I think most of the big highpoints got hit, but of online reviews, I remember having particularly enjoyed Tom Spurgeon's review of Darwyn Cooke's The Spirit, and Jog's review of Josh Simmons's House. Neither were anything that sing out "best of the year" maybe, but each highlighted in its own way why I read that particular reviewer.
