Another day, another roundup of year-end lists …

Previous roundups can be found here, here, here, here and here. Whew.

– The A.V. Club‘s Noel Murray, Keith Phipps and Tasha Robinson roll out their 11 (really?) best of ’07, including The Luna Brothers’ Girls: The Complete Collection, Rick Geary’s A Treasury of Victorian Murder: The Saga of the Bloody Benders, and Mike Carey and Jim Fern’s Midnight Crossing, Vol. 1.

– The critics of Playback St. Louis make their picks: Gabe Bullard, Jason Green, Steve Higgins (comics), Steve Higgins (graphic novels), and Carlos Ruiz.

The Oklahoman‘s Matthew Price names his best graphic novels, including Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim Gets It Together, Rutu Modan’s Exit Wounds, and Matt Silady’s The Homeless Channel.

– Blogger/critic Johanna Draper Carlson lists her 10 best graphic novels, including Geary’s The Saga of the Bloody Benders, James Vining’s First in Space, and G. Willow Wilson and M.K. Perker’s Cairo. Carlson named her favorite manga early last month.

Andrew Smith, aka “Captain Comics,” picks the Top Five comics news stories for Scripps Howard News Service.

– Blogger Marc-Oliver Frisch continues his look at comics he enjoyed in 2007.

– Blogger Chad Nevett runs down some of the comics that didn’t quite make his Top 10.

Variety’s Tom McLean takes a two-part look at 2007, and then turns an eye toward 2008.
