    I have no problem with them ignoring the Ang Lee movie (even though I’m often defending it), but I think it’s a mistake to go through the origin again. Ignore the other movie, fine, but take the origin as read and move on to another story.

    Do the origin as an ultra-short prologue, then roll opening credits, get to the real movie. Just like the TV show.
