Forbes: Scrooge richer than Wayne, Stark

Forbes released their in-depth Forbes Fictional 15 with Scrooge McDuck taking top spot at a value of $28.8 billion. Bruce Wayne made 8th place valued at $7.0 billion with Tony Stark following closely behind at $6.0 billion giving him 10th place.

The link also lists the top 25 largest fictional companies. It’s pretty fun and worth reading individual entries if you have the time.

  1. Kevin Huxford Says:

Some poor attempts at humor in the article, though:

“McDuck moves into the top slot vacated by last year’s richest fictional character, defense contractor Oliver ”Daddy” Warbucks. Warbucks was tragically killed by an improvised explosive device during a visit to Iraq in March. The mogul’s sudden demise leaves Warbucks Industries–the world’s largest maker of depleted uranium artillery shells and cat food–without leadership. Adopted daughter Lil’ Orphan Annie is now in court fighting Warbucks’ former wives, bodyguards and mistresses for control of the company and estate.”

Yeah…IEDs are such a good way to make a joke in a trivial article…
