–Persepolis was nominated for another award this week — a Golden Globe, in the Best Foreign Language Film category … but not the animated movie category, which includes The Simpsons, Ratatouille and Bee Movie. Other nominees JK fully supports: Kevin Dillon for Entourage, Pushing Daisies, Big Love, “Guaranteed” by Eddie Vedder and John C. Reilly.

– Same Hat is reporting that a movie adaptation of Kazuo Umezu’s Orochi is in the works.

– Jake Forbes, who penned the script for the Return to Labyrinth OEL manga, has a nice, new blog up.

–The Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Mass. is holding an exhibit on comics called “LitGraphic: The World of the Graphic Novel,” featuring the work of Brian Fies, Mark Wheatley, Peter Kuper, Barron Storey, Dave Sim, Will Eisner and Frank Miller.

– Apparently they’re making another live-action Asterix film. Twitch has the trailer.

–They’re also remaking Clash of the Titans, which will be directed by Steve Norrington (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen).
