Nice art, but better perhaps has a promo pic. Lacks the cleverness of the American poster.

Yeah, the US one is great. This, it’s like an ad for an office suite.

the trailer is up (sorta) http://www.youtube.com/v/lwT8GyLxIhk&rel=1

There are other sites which suggest this may be fake/fan-generated, and it could be since the movie logo is very small.

AICN has a large version of this.

it looks like the close scene from fight club.
bat-club?

kinda like it…but the promopiece with that “Joker-mouth” grapphity made much more sense!!

I love it. Thinks its awesome, whether it is real or not.

Don’t forget the new Joker posters:

That one’s awesome. I like how it evokes the Tim Burton Batman, the showdown in the streets of Gotham, but instead of a gun with a ridiculously long barrel and a batplane set against the moon, we get something more realistic and cooler.

On a more trivial note: does anyone recognize those buildings on the skyline?

To me, it has sort of a Darth Vader, looking at Corsucant (sp?), feel to it. I really like it. I’m not sure where Bats is (Wayne Tower?) or why he’s there, but that’s a great tease for a movie I’m already stoked for! Looks legit to me. If it’s a fake, it’s a really good one.
More importantly, the new trailer is FINALLY out and it’s playing with I Am Legend. I saw a bootlegged version on You Tube, via AICN, earlier today and even in that form it looked seriously badass. WB has since had it pulled off You Tube, so I wish those bastards would get it online for real!

Of course some of you dont like the International poster, its because you are empty headed Americans

Yep, the empty headed Americans providing YOU with a Batman movie!
Not saying we’re perfect, but you can’t argue that Batman Begins + The Dark Knight has got to make up for some of our shit.

Moving back on topic from dumb webcomment xenophobia about “emptyheadedness” or some such shit; as an “international” viewer, I think it’s a amazing image, but really doesn’t have the impact or wit of the Joker one - but both posters do the whole “tease” thing very well, so thumbs up all round.
Hugely impressed by Nolan’s take on Batman, and really looking forward to this film.

I think this is wonderfully clever: Is Batman Gotham’s jailer or it’s prisoner? Brilliant!
