Writer Christopher Mills points to the production blog for Perils on Planet X, a new space opera series he’s doing for Ape Entertainment with Gene Gonzales and Ian Sokoliwski:
Oh, I haven’t really talked much about it ’cause I was waiting for the project to be a bit further along, but last Summer, I set up a Perils on Planet X “production blog,” with concept art, progress reports, and inspirational images from various genre films, books and movies that, well, inspired me.
Some of the material at the POPX blog has also been (and will continue to be) posted here, too Like the colorist announcement below), but there’s lots of other stuff there, as well, like early concept art by Jon Plante (who drew the original webcomic version) and photos of hot movie space babes.

Thanks for noticing. The book should be out mid-2008, and anyone who digs old school interplanetary swashbucklers will probably enjoy it.
Oh, and Gene draws really hot women.
