Very cool. Everything I’ve seen about this movie so far suits my inclinations perfectly.

Very nice!
Can’t wait for this film to finally hit.

Looks a little like the Jokers face. Obviously no coincidence, are we expecting him to be the main villain in this one??

Sweet finale something good coming out of the comics world

Looks great! I hope that Christopher Nolan and the cast stay in this new Batman series as long as possible. They’re doing an excellent job. Warner Bros. is known to ruin comic book adaptations and I don’t wanna see this new Bat series end like the one before (great Burton to crap Schumacher).
December 5th, 2007 at 8:48 am
wow where has thomas been. how do you post on this site and not know that??
December 5th, 2007 at 9:04 am
Just what I was thinking too … it’s been known literally since the end of the first movie the Joker would be the villain in this one.
Btw … great poster.
December 5th, 2007 at 9:30 am
I think maybe thomas is being a little tounge in cheek here….don’t you think?
December 5th, 2007 at 10:48 am
Brilliant poster. Too bad there isn’t an IMAX screening of the 6 minutes in Austin. =(

muito louco e criativo

Thanks for joining us, Thomas.
I hate reusing this word, but that is a brilliant design, especially in the use of the Batman symbol and maintaining its integrity specific to this franchise.

I like this poster. Can’t wait for the movie. Too bad though, when it does come out, people are going to say Heath Ledger wasn’t as good as Joker as Jack Nicholson. Or something along those lines. I,personally, think he is going to surprise a lot of people.
December 5th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
neat poster.. hopefully it will be in wide distribution, to get people ready for the movie..
December 5th, 2007 at 1:41 pm
Wow, excellent, This is a cool concept poster for DC that will no doubt get everyones attention, just as its got mine. I hope this will be featured on the DVDs release cvr as well.
December 5th, 2007 at 2:50 pm
I hope the “WHY SO SERIOUS” theme is kept and the rest of the posters with the taglines keep in the internet macros spirit. “HAI IM BATMAN. KAI THNKX”.
December 5th, 2007 at 3:47 pm
The Joker is such a hammy character — too much for my tastes. Hopefully, he’ll be played as stark and disturbing as the poster is.
December 5th, 2007 at 6:08 pm
A serious house on serious earth.

“The Joker is such a hammy character — too much for my tastes. Hopefully, he’ll be played as stark and disturbing as the poster is.” -richcapo
Yeah, when I saw this poster, I also thought; “Man, I hope he’s played like this wall”.
December 6th, 2007 at 12:52 pm
Haha well it seems like a lot of people were quick to point out that Im new on these forums.Im not a massive bat-fan so I didnt know it was going to be the Joker no. In fact I haven’t been following the progress of this movie at all. If its anything like the last one though I’ll go see it.

Thomas= ass
December 6th, 2007 at 2:29 pm
I can’t wait NOT to watch this.
December 6th, 2007 at 2:44 pm
I’m an ass? I don’t understand. All I said was that I didn’t know it was the joker. heh. Can’t understand forums sometimes!
December 6th, 2007 at 3:45 pm
Thomas: I don’t think #24 was calling you an “ass.” It’s obvious that he equates you with having a great ass. He’s complimenting you…
December 6th, 2007 at 4:24 pm
de la pm el afiche , traigan mas novedades de la peli
December 6th, 2007 at 4:59 pm
Well we’ll settle for that then rather than an unecessarily snappy comment. Great ass it is.
Thanks #24. Looking good yourself!! heh.

> Yeah, when I saw this poster, I also thought; “Man, I hope he’s played like this wall”.
It has a feel that I like. I also like the spoiler photos of the Joker. They both suggest a grittier, more mature take on the Batworld than what I’m used to. And I’m hoping the movie delivers on that.
The Batworld has too many hokey elements in it for my tastes — too much shallow characterization fit for young readers, clownish villains with laughable gimmicks and dialogue, etc. It would be very nice to see a hero comic movie (or a hero comic, period) that eschews all that, in my opinion.
