Also now up are more pictures from the Watchmen set and Indiana Jones 4.

  1. Roy Says:

Heath looks like what Tim Burton should have came up with the Joker in the 1989 version, Harry still looks cool as Indy and Watchmen…too cool for words.

  2. sluggo Says:

Ford looks awesome. Like coming home again. I feel bad for whoever is on the receiving end of that scowl in the second photo.

Shia LeBouf cracked me up in Transformers, so I’m really looking forward to this.

  3. Shaun Says:

Joker’s looking great. I have never been looking forward to a movie more than The Dark Knight. If it’s at least as good as Batman Begins I will be very, very happy.

Oh yeah, and Watchmen and Indy are both gonna rock too. At least, I think Indy will. Harrison Ford still looks great. I just hope the script is worthy.

  4. papiculo Says:

it sounds like the dudes on joblo.com are real dicks. im happy to see the picture, but i feel kinda iffy. oh, well, thats the internet for you. joker looks awesome, as does the other pics.

  5. B|ackPanther Says:

Can’t wait until Indy 4 and Watchmen. Could care less about the Joker.

  6. Dave Says:

Reminds me of Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice…

    Dave

  7. Richard Says:

    I want those socks.

  8. Paul Says:

    “I want those socks”

i was thinking the same thing

  9. rbelmont Says:

    Beetlejuice anyone…?

  10. Red Hood Says:

This worries me. …Did not want to be portrayed as a dirty beetle juice.
What about the beautiful white hands?

  11. mostlyhuman Says:

It really sickens me that people (on this and other sites) are griping about this photo…
    “His hands aren’t white…”
    “He looks like Beetlejuice…”
“Why can’t he look more like Nicholson or the comics version?”
    “Why’s he dirty?”

It just seems like people on the internet want to hate everything (despite any level of quality) just co they can b*tch about very little, fuggin’, thing.

When people complain about Chris Nolan’s Batman, I just want them to take a second and think about 1997’s “Batman and Robin.”
Ain’t so bad now, is it?

  12. Garth Says:

“When people complain about Chris Nolan’s Batman, I just want them to take a second and think about 1997’s “Batman and Robin.”
Ain’t so bad now, is it?”

Fair enough, but really…all you’re doing is saying that it’s better that one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

Of course, Batman Begins is Citizen Kane compared to Batman & Robin…

Doesn’t mean I don’t have problems with BB. And it doesn’t make them any less valid.

  13. zombie-kid Says:

personally, can’t wait for dark knight. was skeptical about ledger to begin with but am really looking forward to it now. still on the fence about watchmen tho, is that rorschach in the last picture?

  14. josh Says:

I have never been this nervous and excited for a movie as I am with The Watchmen. These images gave me goosebumps.

  15. Batmite79 Says:

Really, the only reason I can see for people griping about this Joker pic is because it’s not a note for note interpretation of the comic.

Batman Begins was more “grounded” than a Batman comic, so it figures that the Joker will be presented a little different. He’s lower key, but still visceral. And let’s not forget that with the changes (”OMG Ra’s isn’t immortal WTF!!!”), it was still a brilliant take on the Bat-mythos.

And everyone whinging right now knows they’ll be first in line…

  16. Statham Says:

    (”OMG Ra’s isn’t immortal WTF!!!”)

Who says he isn’t? The look on his face just before the train hits the ground suggests he knows something we don’t, and despite his talk of Ra’s Al Ghul being ‘more than a man’, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch if he had some more tricks up his sleeve.

Anyway, loving the new Joker. The people saying he doesn’t look right remind me a lot of the people saying Batman Begins would suck, that it didn’t look right, and then were silenced when the movie came out. I think Nolan, Bale and co are gonna strike gold again.

  17. Deep Shock Says:

Well DC is making movies for adults it seems while MARVEL is trying to appeal to all ages and fails miserably! Go DC!!!

  18. Mega Gear X Says:

^Like Superman as a deadbeat dad in Superman Returns? For every Batman Begins, there is a Superman Returns.

  19. Anthony Lucynski Says:

“The people saying he doesn’t look right remind me a lot of the people saying Batman Begins would suck, that it didn’t look right, and then were silenced when the movie came out. ”

Keep in mind that, when you say stuff like this, that there are still people who thought Batman Begins did indeed suck, and were never silenced on the issue :)

  20. DaVeO Says:

Al Roker and the Good Morning production team are morons. First by having the frikkin 60’s Batman theme in the background. Second, did he even see Batman Begins? “Last we saw Batman he defeated… (couldn’t remember villains names)…the villains and then the Joker is running around (huh? All we saw was a card). Also the atypical questions about Batman being a superhero without super powers.
Don’t let this guy back on The Dark Knight set. Bale was probably glad when the interview was finished.

  21. DaVeO Says:

And I totally placed the last comment in the wrong article. *smacks head* Copy, paste.

  22. AnxiousTuesday Says:

I’m still going to see it and enjoy it, but I thought of Beetlejuice when I first saw him (I briefly thought a little about Doink the Clown from WWF, but that was brief)

Still though, looks like it will be worth the wait, I’m glad they didn’t just rush the next film in there.
