The Simpsons episode featuring comic creators Alan Moore, Daniel Clowes and Art Spiegelman — as well as Jack Black — will finally air tonight on Fox. Will Pfeifer talks about the episode on his blog (where I swiped the above piece of art).
Edit: Kiel Phegley interviewed Alan Moore about the show (and The Black Dossier) for Wizard.

Yeah, I liked Watchmen Babies.
I’m surprised the comics portion wasn’t longer. Shutting down Comic Book Guy seemed like a big deal, and then they just started the next plot and never mentioned him again.
So now Marge is rich with her own business and Comic Book Guy is out of business. I’m sure that the stuff with Marge will never be mentioned again, but I wonder if the Androids Dungeon will just be there as if nothing happened in a later episode. Sometimes they keep stuff like that, sometimes not.

Actually, I hope they retire the old comic book guy and keep the new one, or that they switch continuity with what comic book stores are becoming or should be like. They really got it for this one.

I think I’d like the new comic book guy stick around. Maybe Jack Black will come back to do the voice some more.
Old Comic Book Guy could still be around, just in his Mom’s basement instead of in his own store.

Just gonna be the one to say it: Coolsville was clearly based on Meltdown in Hollywood. Love Meltdown, but now a super pain for me to get to… only go when on serious Dork-patrol. Lots of goodies there. Otherwise off to Secret Headquarters in Hipsterville (ie., Silverlake).

It would be rather sweet if Comic Book Guy has to sell his store, live in his mother’s basement, and sell overpriced CGC comics on eBay.

Yeah, I hope this really kills off the old Comic Book Guy/Jeff Albertson.

Clearly Meltdown, go there every week. Congratulations Gaston and the whole gang. Best Episode Ever!!!!
