In designing the evil third member of Scott’s ex-girlfriend’s band the Clash at Demonhead, O’Malley dropped a last-minute bionic arm into the mix, much like a noted ’90s comics superstar. “That’s sort of like a Rob Liefeld bionic arm,” laughs O’Malley. “It’s more like I can’t draw—just like Rob Liefeld. I don’t think I planned the bionic arm that far in advance. I just drew some doodads on it and basically did what Liefeld does.”
