The Bendis Board notices something interesting about the name of the new Marvel online comics initiative…:
“What’s in a name. If you ask Marvel, not much. Has anyone else noticed what Marvel has named their Digital Comics Unlimited endeavor?”
“Well, to be fair, that’s in response to DC’s being called the Massive Alternative Reading Venture/Electronic Literature.”
“If its intentional, its also [censored because kids may read this] GENIUS!”

DC Comics is stupid if they didn’t try to register a name using their acronym in anticipation of one day offering such things.
If it is intentional, it’s just really arrogant shite on Marvel’s part.

Marvel was mad because DC snagged the “Zuda” trademark out from under their noses.

You mean arrogant like when they took Captain Marvel’s name or forced Marvelman to change his name in the US?
They aren’t satisfied with monopolizing the Marvel name but are trying to undercut any future DC online initiative just for the heck of it? Wait, how’s that “genius” again? Because I was thinking of another word…
