The animated version of Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi took home the the BFI Sutherland Trophy at The Times BFI London Film Festival. This comes after taking the jury prize at the Cannes film festival.
“Persepolis is one of the best and most distinctive animated films for grown-ups to appear in recent years,” said fest artistic director Sandra Hebron.
