USA Today has a “first look” at images from the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator sequel, including the above Alien/Predator hybrid. The new creature is “an alien that bursts from a predator’s body, or a ‘predalien,’” and “leads the war as the creatures descend on a small Colorado town.”

Thought they jumped out as little versions of aliens not hybrids of what they came out of. Hopefully direct to DVD.

Wasn’t the alien out of Alien 3 a hybrid with some animal, making it different than regular aliens?

Yup, dog/alien hybrid. Been established that aliens kinda adopt some traits from their hosts, but…man, this is one over-the-top creature design.
It’s not just a predator/alien hybrid - it’s more like Neat and Stupid had sex with an alien/predator hybrid and this weird neat/stupid/alien/predator hybrid came out.

It’s based on the Dark Horse comic hybrid, and it looks pretty similar to it. If they just based the movies more on the comics, I’m sure it won’t be as bad as the first one. Also, it has to be rated R for extreme violence, no PG-13 crap.
