I wrote them a letter and told them "Look, there are NO superheroes in comics, OK?! And there are no skeevy comic book shops or comic book shop owners! ALL (and I mean every single goddamn one) comic book shops are clean, well-lit, family friendly places where employees greet male and female customers with the same degree of super-helpful and friendly customer service and nobody has BO or bad breath and the racks all glow with the overwhelming power that is COMICS!!! How dare you use COMICS as a backdrop to tell a story about a crazy person!! Now, everyone in the world is going to think people who read or make comics is a lunatic! How would you like it if I made a show that portrayed forensic anthropolgists in a totally unrealistic, fantastic manner just to tell a story? I don't see you misrepresenting and stereotyping other industries, like the recording industry or the film industry, or lawyers or doctors.
